    Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Stephanie's passion for the west coast began in her youth. After high school, she worked at lodges along the BC coastline, more recently, completing the RMT program in Victoria and has started a family. She is excited share her knowledge of the west coast and use her skills gained working at remote lodges to give you an unique experience of your own at the Breakwater Lodge.

    Originating from Campbell River, Eric has always had a passion for fishing. From his early days of freshwater fishing in the area to his love for saltwater and salmon fishing, the waters have long been his sanctuary. Beyond his angling pursuits, you can find him exploring nature trails, camping under the stars, or refining his skills with a bow and arrow. Eric cherishes every moment he spends in the great outdoors, his second home.

    Wes spent his younger years growing up on Maurelle Island just south of Sonora, driving his 12 foot Boston whaler to and from school each day. With a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors, nature, and fishing, he began working at local lodges during high school summers, eventually becoming a fishing guide in the early 2000s. Now, after 21 years in the industry, he's finally fulfilling his dream of owning his own lodge.

  • GUIDE

    Raised on Quadra Island, Dawson spent his childhood on boats with his father, who is also a seasoned fishing guide. Taking a break between semesters at UVIC, Dawson spent a few summers working at a local fishing resort. Now having completed his degree, Dawson is excited to get back on the water. While he has a passion for salmon fishing, you can also find him on solo hiking trips, and in rivers fly fishing with his friends.

  • OPERATIONS MANAGER

    From summiting the Squamish Chief in a backpack at just one year old to hiking in the Australian outback with only a sleeping bag under the stars, Kailey’s adventures began early and have only grown more passionate, having explored regions like Southeast Asia, Central America, and Europe.

    Kailey’s role as Operations Manager allows her to channel her extensive travel experience and logistical expertise into creating seamless and unforgettable experiences for guests. Whether it’s coordinating daily excursions, ensuring the lodge operates smoothly, or sharing her local knowledge with visitors, Kailey brings enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the wilderness to every aspect of her work.
