What Our Guests Had to Say

  • Just reviewing your updated web site. It's really great but after our visit, I have to say the “real thing” is far superior! I loved looking at the fast flowing tide water from the lodge, never a dull moment with all the wildlife action; seals fishing and playing, sea lions, eagles parked there watching and fishing, but especially the fast moving water. The Lodge itself was really well done with a huge kitchen, dining table, bar and sitting room, all with the full length and height front windows so we didn't miss anything. We loved the salmons and ling-cods we caught along with the crabs. Thanks for packaging and freezing them for us. The scenery as we fished was spectacular, we could only dream of simply living there. And a special thanks to our fishing guide and his lovely partner, they did a spectacular job!

  • When you’re not fishing you’re starring out at the current watching seals play, eagles hunt and sea lions cruise. The west coast style cozy lodge has all the comforts of home but nestled in the beautiful nature of the coast. The staff were phenomenal both on an off the water. Highly recommend.

  • After 3 nights at Breakwater lodge I did not want to leave. The lodge is located in such a beautiful location -with seals and sea lions in the changing tide waters in front of the lodge and eagles and oyster catchers to entertain us. We fished: caught Chinook salmon, lingcod and even saw a grizzly bear while setting crab traps. That is not all…..

  • Excellent views and atmosphere, experienced guides helped us with incredible multi species angling opportunities. No better place on the west coast to enjoy an evening beverage. We can’t wait to come back soon.
